A cribbage roguelite · in development

Double Skunk

Play real cribbage hands, then break the game wide open. Stack scoring powerups, draw run-defining pegs, and spend one-shot consumables to out-peg a parlor full of opponents.

Double Skunk key art — a Victorian parlor of animal gamblers gathered around a cribbage board.

It's the cribbage you know. The house rules are new.

What makes it a roguelite

01

Real cribbage, real hands

Pegging, the show, his heels, the lot. If you know the game, you're already home.

02

40+ powerups, stacked your way

Build a scoring engine that bends every hand in your favor.

03

A campaign with character

Fight your way across the circuit's tables and the Keepers who run them.

The hook

Three ways to bend the deck.

Standard cribbage scoring, then a roguelite layer stacked on top of it.

PowerUps

Passive perks you slot into your loadout. They permanently bend the scoring rules in your favor and fire automatically, every hand.

  • Crimson Tide — +1 point per red card in the show.
  • Black Tie — ×1.5 to your show when it has no red cards.
40+ to find, drop, and buy

Pegs

Two run-defining picks before each campaign. Each rewrites a rule or a starting condition, not just a score.

  • Honest — start seven holes up the board.
  • Eager — +2 peg movement on every Go.
  • Spy — see the opponent's crib before the cut.
Picked two at a time

Consumables

One-shot A–K cards you stash and play into the pegging count. Each plays at its rank's value, plus a kicker, then it's spent.

  • Five — play as 5, advance your peg 5.
  • Queen — play as 10, cancel their next scoring event.
Two slots, expandable
The cast

Meet the Keepers.
