How the count works
Every distinct combination scores and the same card can appear in several. Fifteens are 2 each. Pairs are 2 each, so three of a kind is 6 and four of a kind is 12. Runs of three or more score 1 per card, and a pair inside a run doubles the run. A four-card flush is 4, five with the cut. The Jack of the cut card's suit is 1 for nobs. The full counting lesson.
